    The Rainbow Boa I held was very calm but in general Rainbows don't make ideal handling snakes. Rosy Boas on the other hand, are usually very calm snakes (even in the wild) and may even enjoy handling. So yeah, they are calmer than Rainbows. P.S. Rosys are also a heck of a lot easier to take care for than Rainbow Boas (no strict humidity requirements like Rainbows need). As you can see from that last set of parenthesis, size isn't the only issue when it comes to Rainbows.
