    some of mine would get a pink belly about 3-4 days before they shed, once they shed it was gone. some of mine would shed every two weeks some every 2 months.

    Ive had em shed everymonth, means there growin good!
    Esp. if they are good eaters and you just upped the meal size.

    All the above replies have been great. And covered most of it. But I didn't see this question.

    What's your hot side temp? And how do you measure that temp?

    Ball pythons/snakes in general can get burned. And the vent area is what seems to get the worst of it being as its a sensitive area.

    Oh yea his temps and husbandry are fine. 91 warm side, 84 collest side, 80 ambient. 57-60% humidity. Im changing the cypress mulch to newspaper for simplicity anyway so that should rule out belly rot in the future with frequent changing.

    Babies also have a natural pink hue on their bellies. If it's not dark enough to show up on a photograph, don't worry about it.
