darn....I don't think he's awake either - 2:11am for him.

She seems to be moving around a lot doing something..

This is great!

The webcam is in a good position to see the snake right now.

She moving lots. Without moving anywhere. Imagine she's in a snug hide, and going crazy inside the hide without coming out of it. Except she isn't in a hide.

For a while I wondered if she might be "in labor" (what would you call it with a snake?), and possibly halfway through laying her eggs. Because altho she was moving lots, she was carefully keeping coiled at the same time, and could easily have been some eggs hidden. Finally she moved enough one time I could see pretty conclusively that there aren't any eggs yet.

So she's either in the early stages of snakey labor, if there is such a thing, or she just like a ready-to-pop human mommy... can't get comfortable no matter which way she moves.

Still very fascinating to watch for a little while. A very different picture than the serene "perfect coil" pics I've seen places like ballpython.ca.

There was long periods of time that she did that perfect coil of motionless snake. She was active several times last night when I went "OH OH!! Is it time???" but no. I'll have to keep watching!

Is it just me or is the cam lagging. The time says 5:53 but the cam says 5:32. :(

Yes some times you have to update.. the pages.. :(
