    Just in case, i would not buy from petco. I know you help out at a petstore but im not sure what it is called. I bought a 1.2 trio from them and had Zero breeding and got rid of them after three months.

    If you buy females that are older, chances are they will be too old to breed, they will likely only have a few litters or poor size litters.

    Rasing some females to proper weight is always recommended.
