Yes, we loved how informal it felt. That is why I had the gumption to ask to hold / pet a few things. I don't know if it was b/c the NARBC in Chantilly last October was my first show or what, but a big show like that felt intimidating. Though small, this one rocked!

 Yeah, really. I think the guy only let me hold him because we have a jungle carpet and I talked about how "he's not biting anymore." The lil' jag did snap toward my face, but was still a good foot or so away. I was like, "Wow! I got to see the inside of your mouth," and was cracking up. Once we got on the road, I realized that the guy sitting at that table was probably really happy I didn't drop the jag. :D I would have held him longer, but some very tall guy started inching up behind me and looking over my shoulder. Then the jag started getting really pissed. I didn't want to stress him any more, so I gave him back. But it was fun! He bit the guy who was putting him back quite a lot, but was too small to draw blood. I didn't have the pleasure of finally seeing him get that little feisty snake back into his deli cup b/c I had started talking to Will Bird. But my hubbie says trying to get the jag back in was really frustrating him.

Yes, you should go up. I think I'll go in late spring or ealy summer - not sure when. Does Will go to that one a lot? I need to take his book back and have him autograph it!

We should try to have all the BP.net'ers hook up, esp. since I missed JASBalls!! :rolleye2:

I think he is gonna try do it a few times every year every i know the last 2 trips out there he had a real good time and it was also pretty profitable for him as well,His biggest problem is that as soon as the weather gets nice in any part of the state his show season is done for the year because of all the Field work that he and Phil do across the state

But if he goes back up to do the pennsulvania trip again this fall i will definitly make it out with him!
