there is a free downloadable version if you go to degei.com

I know i saw that, but how good is the free trial?

Looks like the new version only allows 5 snakes to be added, plus you can't setup your racks or breeders/feeders on the trial version. I think it's only like 25 bucks which isn't too bad at all for the things you can with it. Might not be worth it if you only have a couple snakes.

I bought it a month ago. They sent me a link after I e-mailed him at no charge.

I just got a new laptop, so I downloaded the new version. It DOES work with Vista, but from what I read, you have to install it differently. When you install Degei to Vista, change the destination directory so it doesn't sit in C:/Program Files. Just use C:/Degei or another folder for it and it should install and work fine...

That was the old version. You dont have to do that for the 4.0 version.

I found my copy of free herp and uploaded it to my site..... Linky Just a note, this software is no longer supported or updated.
