    I put wet towels over 2/3rd's of the tank on both sides of the heat lamp which is 75w infrared and it runs 24/7. I also use a UTH and mist twice a day with humidifying moss. Keeps humidity at 55 or 60 percent. Never drops below 55. Hope this helps in some way.

    uth is the way to go , I would also cover the top with some cut to fit plex glass
