I spend most of my history class doing punnet squares. I find it so much fun to see what you could possibly get. Just recently I was doing a punnet to try and find out the best way to an axanthic killer bee. :) Beautiful snakes and the punnet is fun.

Don't worry, it's quite simple when you get the hang of it! Trust me, if I can figure it out, anyone can! ;) The good thing about these is that it doesn't matter which morph it is, the square is always pretty much the same.

Ok, after my lunch break doing this, I will not touch snake punnets ever again. I swear rats are so much easier... LOL

Resulting in 1 in 64 chance of hitting a triple het for each egg....

You can do punnets for rats? You'll have to school me in rat genetics if I am to get into breeding rats. :)

LOL, I must just be fried right now, I've done triple and quad punnets before, for some reason the first one looked right to me. Oh well,

yes rats can be done with punnets too. It's also a lot easier to get into the high amounts of recessive genes because there are so many colors, patterns, coats and ears and tail stuff to be modified all bundled up into one rat.

I marked the morphs with just a, b and c, they can be whichever. I hope I didn't make any typos...

    Man you are fast... ;)

It probably would have been easier with ABC's... lol. It's not even worth doing the punnets when it comes to snakes. Just breed em together! ;)
