Yeah its pretty weird huh? I'm glad you realized it was combat and they weren't dieing. ;)

I really don't know what would possess a male to do that. All I can say is that the pheromones and chemical distinctions between males and females is probably pretty subtle. (at least to my nose... j/k) The females don't wear big signs or pink clothes, lol.
