    This is so true...I learned just how much balls are dependent on the prey's body heat when I first started with reptiles years ago...a nice warm hand dangling a cool f/t mouse...you can guess what the snake grabbed, LOL

    haha, yeah, i've been wondering if and when that would happen!!!

    usually he waits patiently in the hide, and once i've finished placing down the frozen/thawed, he's out in no time.....only the last few times he's slithered right past.

    thats good to know that it has happened to others as well, i was getting concerned at first like either he didn't like it, or something......

    how often do you all feed normally? every 7 days or........?

    I also feed f/t - same with the heat issue and I use a hair dryer too! I have always fed every 7 days, but lately he seems quite hungry, on the prowl after 3 or 4 days, so I just switched to every 5 days to see if it helps. So far, so good!
