    Hi! I'm Gloryhound's wife...just a couple things to add to what he said:
    Keep it in its enclosure. Don't move it to a different container to feed. It also helps if you feed in the late evening/night and turn out the lights in the room and keep movement down to a minimum in front of the cage. It helps promote the feeding instinct. I would probably try feeding it a live mouse. If you want to keep an eye on the snake to make sure the mouse isn't munching on the snake, use a red flashlight (red permanent marker colored over a regular flashlight lens is a cheap way). I wouldn't keep the live mouse in for more than 20-30 minutes max. Good luck!
