Re: Pic request....Blue Eye Lucy from Mojo x Mojo
Could also be people are tired of them because so many different morphs Super form is a BEL. Too many different ways to make the same looking snake. I know each one looks a little bit different as to how clean it looks and color of the eyes, etc. but basically they all look similar. Nothing new can be made unless somehow somewhere along the line the gene mutated and got a snake that was a completely different color (just me dreaming, if only)
Re: Pic request....Blue Eye Lucy from Mojo x Mojo
Personaly i think just because bel combos are all white doesnt mean its not fun anymore. A super pastel bel would be all white, but also produce all lesser pastels(if its a lesser bel...)
Its what they can have thats fun.

What has happened is that people are now making combinations of morphs and when you get to a lucy it is a wash or dead end, no more combos, everything is white. A pastel or cinny make more interesting combos in the super form therefore more possibilities. I don't think tired is the correct word, maybe not as excited as they used to be
I disagree, I dont' consider it a dead end at all. I can't wait to have an all white snake. Not only are they beautiful animals all on their own, but the breeding possibilities are endless. EVERY egg that you produce will be a morph. No more normal males that you have a hard time even finding a home for. If I had a nice little group of leucistic females, I could breed all of my recessive stuff to them and then instead of having rack after rack of normal looking hets, I could have rack after rack of morphs that are also het for something else. Personally I think it's a winning situation all around.

Mark I agree with you that they are a gem of an animal from a breeders standpoint. Who wouldn't want to have lucy females. But I have been told thats why lucy producing animals have dropped so quickly in value. I look foward to having a lucy one day too.
