Foreman teaches you to smile even when you don't want to, and laugh when you want to cry or yell. It works. It's absolutely impossible to stay angry with a big-*ss smile on your face... or while having a big belly laugh. :D

Re: Crazy story
Positive thought is very important but many times only as strong of positive action that must follow. Actions begin as thought.
Science has proven that stress causes disease therfore it only makes sense that happiness/peacefulness (positive) causes wellness and balance. In many different forms this is the basis of many religions.
Now the guy on the video must get stuff that is not legal in most parts:D

Re: Crazy story
I was reading a self-help book by the Chicken Soup guys (Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield) and they suggested an experiment to prove that thought is not just something that stays in our heads, but rather a tangable thing. They set out to prove that thought has mass just like air and sound. Not too long ago people didn't think air was a tangable thing because they could not see or touch it.
Of course today we know better. Thought is the same way today as air was back then. Very few people believe that thought is tangable outside of our own heads. But I know better and I can prove it. Understanding this is the first step to making positive thought work for you. I'm not going to have time to tell the whole story right now but if you are interested I'll continue later.

Re: Crazy story
That is awesome. If you stick by your positive-thought beliefs, I almost guarantee you that success will come your way. Of course, it is a combination of positive thinking and actions too (like, I am not going to wish for a cake to bake itself in the kitchen while I sit on the couch! Irrational..) But seriously.. those in the know, know.

Re: Crazy story
Another thing that interests me, is the power (negative power) of negative thoughts and events, and how they stick with a person. I was watching a show on the Discovery Channel that was about people who committed violent acts. Many of them had said that their plans for such acts, stemmed from resentment caused by severe rejection, ridicule, etc. that started in their younger years. Think of how it feels to be left out and rejected. Many people can just brush it off, but some let it really fester and feel exaggerated, irrational feelings of resentment that make them snap one day.
Just the other side of the positive thinking coin :) My point here would be to nurture and keep the positive actions, experiences and goals in the forefront of your mind, and let the dirty water go down the drain. Doing this is seriously the secret to happiness in my universe.
