    I know putting the water bowl on top of a UTH creates humidity but if the snake goes into that water will he get hurt or burned? I am using a mini UTH and its not that hot I put my finger in it, but it is making my tank humidity a lot better

    No you won't have a problem with your snake getting burned or anything. Give it a full day and night in the tub and you should see that the humidity will take care of itself.
