I have a number of products from ZooMed including digital thermometers, 3 UTH's, and the ReptiTemp 500R Thermostat. I have not had a problem with any of them. The thermostat is of course affordable and only temporary for me, but when used the correct way, it does the job. The only objections I have about it is the lack of a digital reading which forces you to guess and check for a while, and the like 5-8 degree on/off drop period. Basically, they don't make CRAP, but you shouldn't be expecting to run a rack with a ReptiTemp.

My zoomed UTH heats *very* unevenly... I can manage to get out a 5 degree difference from different parts of the mat... it was quickly replaced with flex watt.
