Bad aim... problem?

I didn't have a "there is something wrong here" feeling. But, it was significantly different from normal, so I thought it was worth posting to see the reactions of people who have more experience than me before I just dismissed it.

The overall feeling I get from reading all the replies is that no one knows exactly why this happened, it could have been one of several things. It probably isn't a problem, but it is worth paying a little extra attention for the next feeding or 2, and how she behaves in between feedings of course.

That's pretty much exactly how I was feeling before I posted. I just like getting that confirmed by others.

Now, if it happens again, or she seems less coordinated than usual or otherwise weird or different before I feed her again, then I will start to worry and probably take her to the vet. Or, like you said, at least call and see what they say about bringing her in.

Oh, and so far, this is one isolated thing. Temps/humidity are good. We haven't made any changes to anything. We haven't seen anything else unusual except several misses in a row during one feeding session.

I totally agree about trusting your instincts. That is something I've learned as a mother. When Mom thinks something is wrong, there usually is. Sometimes you go to the doctor, and they can't find it. But you'll likely be back in a day or 2 when whatever it is has had enough time to grow into a problem the doctor can find.

    Just an update.

Our BP seemed 100% normal all week. No misses when I fed her again.

I guess I'll never know what was up that night, but I'm happy she seems to be totally fine and remembered how to aim at a mouse!

Thanks once again to everyone who responded.
