    All very good suggestions WCJ but I just simply don't want to keep mice. If I can find 1 I might try a f/t pup rat next week and see if he takes to it. I've tried a long time ago but the only thing he took to was live adult mice so we'll see how that goes.

    What is his current weight or size? What size mice have you been feeding him?

    Fasting can be because of overfeeding. Adam says he does not have any fast because he feeds smaller prey.

    I would try to leave him alone for 2 weeks. They also may refuse because of stress of offering to many prey.
