Think of the case of a member that joins here but doesn't post much if ever. They may have come here worrying about a specific issue with their snake and found their answer in our numerous stickies, great threads on husbandry, the caresheet, whatever so they didn't post their question after all. That person with a now well cared for ball python, with their worries addressed by our site, is a very valued member and for me, they count. :)

This wasn’t about people coming here and not posting. I try only to post when I have info that I think needs to be shared or is valuable to the site. But in a way those numbers are not important. The numbers that are important are the number of post this site has. It’s all about collecting information to be shared with the world for the betterment of our hobby and have a little fun at the same time. So let’s get back to the enjoyment of our crazy hobby

Glad you are here and find the site helpful!

I understand your original question, but I think things are better left alone, b/c there may be cases where a member got what they needed three years ago and has perfectly healthy snakes. Then comes back after a long hiatus needing help. Wouldn't it be a shame if when they came back they found their account had been deleted?

its probably not my place to say but halfdawg you seem to do an awful lot of complaining.

as for the number of inactive members who knows they may very well come back to ask an important question. but i really think that this is a matter for the mods and admins to deal with not the members. i stopped coming here for about a month about six weeks ago. and i can't tell you how mad i would have been if my account had been deleted.

I think maybe some of our members need to learn to read and comprehend what they read.
