    Nope, anybody with a drop of business sense can make it in this market. A great majority of breeders have no idea how to run a business.

    Nobody in particular here, just breeders I've dealt with and heard or read about.

    I have no idea as my CPA does mine. I see it show up in my itemized deductions (seperated out as a Hobby Loss). He then submits the info on a Form 5213 which delays the assumption of profit on the hobby (otherwise the IRS can/will deign your deduction)
