I don't think a pinkie will work. Once it cools don't the BP wouldn't really notice it. Good luck finding him!

Thank you so much for your advice. My son assumed they would be fine since Skull was raised in a terrarium with Tank, another Bp and is often put back in with him when we go out of town for extended periods of time (it makes it easier for my sons friend to take care of them). You think if I put a pinkie out for him? He's gotta be hungry by now. He missed one of his feedings. I'm hoping Sprinkles will come out of hiding soon but I must admit, the longer he's missing the more I think Skull may have eaten our little guy. That was a hard lesson to learn! I feel terrible- I wish I had known. I'll keep you posted.

I'm so sorry you still haven't found him, but I honestly don't think your other snake ate him!!! Depending on the size of the snake, it can go for months without eating, so you have no need to worry just yet if he's only been gone for a week. I bet you anything he'll turn up somewhere you've searched a million times already, as that seems to be what always happens! Good luck!

Try waiting until around midnight and get a flash light and search all base boards in the room you lost him in. Ball pythons are more active at night. You may consider raising the temp of the room to 75-80 to make him active. Cold snakes dont move often! I have used empty aluminum cans to figure out location. Line the base boards with cans and check for any knocked over ..........I found this out by mistake, My daughter left some cans on top of my rack and had one out and heard the cans from the other room.
Good luck with your search! Bryan
