Just a quick note-it sounds like those females were agitated and probably NOT willing to breed. My females usually start running and shaking their tales when they are either not yet receptive or no longer interested. In fact my female spider just started this behavior after hooking up with my male pied several times in the last two months....

Are you positive about the sex of each animal?

P.S. Chihuahuas rock...especially blue ones :D

Interesting, I swa one of my females do that exactly last night. Maybe she's already gravid? Its only been 5 weeks though since I started...
