Ben I have been following her rescue pretty much from the beginning.
I just want to say you have done an incredible thing for this dog. That not many people would do for that matter. You are outstanding in my book.

Now on to this particular thread. Holy cow. I saw the title and was crushed to hear the news. Like said before pyometra is very serious.
I am so glad to hear that it more than likely isn't that. I hope everything clears up.

Give her a big hug for me, and maybe a little belly rub.

I sure hope the A&M clinic is right... We've had 3 pyo cases come in this month, all of which underwent surgery and fully recovered... all of which had large bills to pay... all of which were severely sick dogs.

Thanks again everyone for your responses. Since I've cut back on her water allowance she hasn't vomited, which is a pretty good sign. She's a bit picky about her food. I need to find her some she'll eat regularly. I am currently feeding her Science Diet sensitive skin since she's got a dandruff problem goin on... But yea, she's not eating as much as I am hoping for. But yea... pyometra does not seem to be the case after all. thank God.
