Great suggestion John. I've heard a few breeders mention this little trick and it does seem to work. We have one of our three females that are slated for our male YB acting a bit stand offish with him so I think we'll likely try this ourselves next week if she keeps it up. :)

Have they been together continuously? I like to put them together for a few days, seperate, feed if needed, and repeat. If I see nothing the first time, then next time it is like a fresh slate, and usually then they are locked.

Well there must be something to this idea that I keep hearing about that sudden changes in weather trigger breeding activity. Our weather here in Toledo just went through a huge change in the past 36 hours. I put two of my snakes together that ignored each other last time and literally within minutes they were all over each other! :)

Think it's time for me to more closely watch the weather forecasts.

It might have something to do with barometric pressure?

I actually had to do this with my pinstripe male cause he refused to go near one of the pastel girls, but would lock with a normal no problem. IT WORKS!!!
