I got A New Iguana.. Need Help

This is the only pic i have right now, i took it on my cam phone the night i got him, ill take better pictures tonight.

measure him from snout to end of tail... and then from snout to vent(where they poop), I suggest join that group if you want, those ladies & gents there are well known Iguana owners. The actual owner of the site, is part of Scales & Tails...

As for him not eating on his own, but only from your hand. I haven't got a clue why.... I got my baby ig last night, he is already eating by himself, went potty, and took a swim in his water dish.

I know he swam in his water bowl and pooped in it, well at least it looked like poop. I changed it. I also try putting his food in his cage and he doesnt even seem interested. Its hard for me to get him to eat even when i hand feed him.

Is he just a stubborn punk?
