I'm not really sure. I think when they've been fed and conditioned well they just lay eggs. I've had the same thing happen with other species of snake also.

but do you think if a single female corn snake is kept as a pet with constant conditions 24/7 it is less likely for them to produce and lay eggs?

Well, it's not common for them to produce eggs by themselves, but it can happen.
