    Wow, if it was hot enough to melt the plastic, it was entirely too hot for her. How are you measuring the temps inside the enclosure?

    By the sounds of the setup so far, I am guessing there are no thermostats or thermometers even set up. Good luck to that little BP.

    Okay. I just settled everything out. I went to the store, got thermometers, a new tank, bedding, stuff for her to climb on/hide in, heating pad, etc. I feel better now , and I'm sure she does too.
