That's really nifty use of space. Not to mention, sometimes you have people over who you'd rather not see your rats. (at least I do.) This would include kids of friends, who I don't want poking their fingers into rat tanks, only to get bitten. A closet with a lock and ventilation like yours, seems awesome. This is a nice discreet way of keeping them..
