Re: anyone collect morphs strictly as pets???
It is up to the individual, what he or she does with their snakes. Personally, I bought my morphs because I enjoy breeding, and want to dabble in creating combos (bees are one of my shorter-term goals.) If I personally, were not interested in breeding my morphs to recoup some of the costs that they were, I personally would not have morphs. But take my Pastel: his up-front cost was recouped by me this year when I sold his offspring. I hopefully expect the same thing to happen with my Spider this year; meaning that his offsprings' proceeds will cancel out what I paid for him. In my life now, I could not justify spending $1k on animals that will not potentially earn me some money back.. but if someone has the money and fancies a pretty snake for a pet, I am by no means the one to say that it is wrong for them to buy it!
