What do you prefer?

I like hatchlings too, but I'm always so ready for them to grow up, because I REALLY love the adults. Nothing like a nice full grown bp. I've adopted adults that were just as sweet natured (if not more so) than babies.

Depends on the difficulty of the species in question...

If they are flighty, hard to raise little buggers that have very specific husbandry issues, I would prefer subadult to adult.

If they were simple, I wouldn't mind hatchlings.
