    I have this argument a lot. IMHO, power-feeding is feeding an excess volume of prey. Whether that comes in the form of one extra-large prey item, or multiple small ones at a single feeding doesn't really matter.

    It's the total amount of food that your snake has to digest that is relevant, not how many pieces it comes in.

    Actually that is generally reffered to as chaining or following on. :)

    x2 my snakes both eat 2 items every 7-10 days because that is what they want...I am sure you know when you feed if your snake is content or not.
