Re: How can i make the tank more humid??
I have a 10 gallon tank that i have my BP in. I have used the lamp on top of the cage for a while and i always have to spray the tank twice a day to keep the humidity up. It kept the cage around 92/ 82 during the winter now that is getting winter it won't keep the temp up but just to like 84/74. So i bought a UTH thought that would make it hotter the tank gets up to about 92/ 82 with the UTH but the thing is with the UTH the humidity gets down to like 30% and i have to spray a lot. How can i fix this temp and humidty thing to were i won't have to spray anymore?

I am not sure that in a tank set up you will ever not need to mist to keep the humidity up, there is a sticky around that gives you pics on partially covering a screen top enclosure. This works rather well as a matter of fact, and since it is winter now for most of us our household heater will suck humidity out of the house in the first place that combined by the heat sources inside the tank humidity can be alot of work. Sometimes different substrates work a lil better at holding humidity.
