Anyone ever go to Africa?

I'd be very curious to hear exactly what the big guns pay for interesting new prospect from african exporters. I hope it is a fair price for them and not exploitative but I suspect we will never know.

I've never been to West Africa (yet - the country I most want to visit in the whole world, from a primate rather than herp POV, is the DRC) but I spent two months on a children's ward in Ethiopia as a medical student and went on honeymoon to Madagascar. There's some herp pics from the later trip if you search the forums - not many snakes but lots of chameleons!

BHB said he spent 60,000 on a "new" snake that proved not genetic. He pretty much has a 60k normal now.
