I think I held him for just a few minutes maybe...he got away once and I caught him. lol.

Francois was down in the crawl space and told me that he saw snake skins "everywhere." I asked him to bring me up a full one if he could - he said most of it was in pieces.

Tonight, he brought up two whole skins, including skin from the heads. Without pulling too hard, so they're not totally straight and not stretched by any means, one is about 44" long and 3" around; the other is about 60" long and 5" around. Rockin'!

I'll post pics later.

Now, who recommends I go herping in the crawl space early next spring?
