i'm back!

aleesha... just got back from surgeon. Had to reattach my jaw since it hit the floor when I saw those pics... all I can say is WOW, what a beautiful family!!!

Look like you had a great time Aleesha, your daughter looks amazing in her wedding gown.

we had a great time in vegas... but oh man there is soooooo much walking it was insane. our feet still hurt.

my new son-in-law is a GREAT tour guide and he made our vacation waaaaay better with his suggestions. we were blessed to be able to spent quite a bit of time with the happy couple after their wedding in the two days which followed... so that was wonderful.

my daughter looked amazing, honestly i don't think she took a single bad picture. my hubby looked soooo handsome. i've never seen him dressed up as our wedding was beneath some willow trees in a park so he wasn't in a tux. i was reaaaaalllllly impressed and thrilled to have our two kids sleeping in our room with us! *sheesh*

my son loved being in a tux... and my little one was like a pink cloud of cotton candy in her dress. she did a wonderful job tossing the rose petals along the aisle so the bride could walk on them :D

would i ever go back to vegas? no. it really isn't my idea of a vacation. i prefer the 'sit on the beach and veg... while being fanned with palm fronds and brought yummy vegan food and fresh fruit - while watching the kids playing in the water. not walking 7 million miles for 12 hours a day listening to them say "how much farther, my feet hurt" LOL

i am very very thankful though that i was able to be there, watch my hubby walk my daughter down the aisle and toast her at her dinner. all in all... a magical time was had by all.

oh and our cirque experience was soooo worth the money. the kids loved the show as did both dave and i. definitely worthwhile going to... the only reason i'd go back to vegas is to see another one of the cirque shows - i wish we could have seen them all! (say "O")

oh i forgot to tell you all... i got soooo many compliments from people about my dress. people were literally stopping me in the casinos to tell me how gorgeous it was and how great i looked! on sunday, we were in a shop and one of the clerks said, "i saw you on your way to the wedding on friday night and your dress was soooooo beautiful, where did you get it? you family looked so great dressed up, you must have been so proud"

wow, to make an impression on someone i didn't even know... i hadn't been in that store yet! that says something about the dress doesn't it!!! :D

congrats aleesha! everyone looked great and it looked like a good time!

Awww... thanks for sharing your pics!! Your family is absolutely beautiful and your daughter looked stunning for her big day!! I am glad that things went well, and outside of all the walking, I am happy that y'all had a good time!!
