My experience is just as everyone has said. They are just awesome snakes. I've only had one that was tuff starter but he came around and expects food 24/7 now LOL My latest a little female never had an issue feeding. They have cool retic like eyes and their pattern generally fades away with time. Prices I have seen range from 50-75 each to 75+ /pair, I bargained for my male at $45 in 2005. I really considered an adult pair at Tinley this year but that would have taken the bulk of the cash I was willing to spend, plus raising them yourself is just so rewarding.

They are fun little snakes, I would definitely recommend you check them out and ask questions if your interested.

Definitly one of my favorite species to work with!!!

My adults are around 30 inches long and think they are retics Never been been latched onto by such a small snake so much in my life...

Perfect size for a pet and real easy to breed...a lil cool down and put em together and let em go at it!!!

had an adult pair of Granite spots at a show last month...they bred in the deli cup the entire show LOL made for a good conversation started ;)

I keep all my snakes in sterilite tubs with Childrens,spotteds or any of the other mini pythons i generally keep them in a6qt box til htey reach probally 10-12 inches then htey get moved up to 16 tubs...I keep my breeders in either 16 or 32 qt tubs...Depends on the snake and how comfortable they are in larger enclosures..

But with Hatchling childrens i actually had real good luck getting them started feeding housing them in 6inch delicups with loose substrate nad a small souflee cup for a water bowl...i kept them in the top shelves of my hatchling racks where they its the warmest and stayed really dark,,,,Once htey started feeding on a regular basis then i moved them to 6 qts...

depends on what kind of temps yo have in your snake room but i would think a small UTH would provide sufficent heat. I would make sure to use a Tstat of some sort tho so it doesnt get too hot...I keep My anateresia in the same racks as my BPs with a gradient from 88-89 at the hot spot down to 82-83 and they do very well with that kind of a setup...only differnce is they need less humidity than BPs
