I got a nice fat breeding-sized female off of CL last week...the guy said he was planning to breed, but just lost interest somewhere along the way. We met at a gas station (I'm not gullible enough to go to a strange guy's house alone), and I looked her over and probed her to double-check the sex. She's in quarantine now, and I'm planning on putting her with my pastel later this season. No apparent external parasites, great body condition, no trace of retained shed...so far, I'm quite happy with her.
However, it was a local purchase where I could meet him and the animal...I really wouldn't buy a snake off of CL long distance, especially a het.
