Hi LadyOhh (Heather, right?). Yeah, i found this girl at the show and couldn't go home without her hahaha. Thank you for your helpfulness, though. If I ever buy another, I'll definitely contact you if you have any available!

That's cool that you have the same name on both sites... at least this isn't like the "which Tim is Tim" discussion I had on chat at cs.com hahaha (several Tims were online at once).

    Rachael,

It is much easier to be the same SN everywhere. Less confusion that way. :)

Glad to see you here, and glad to hear you got a new critter!

Welcome to BPNet, Rachel. You can use a free program like this one http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm that will crop and resize your pictures for forum use, then either upload them into your free BPNet gallery or a site like www.photobucket.com for hosting. Just put the IMG tag into your post and you're set. Nate's video tutorial is amazing and I'm sure once he posts it for the members it will be a huge help.

Don't be too worried about the feeding issues. A lot of ball pythons have that reputation undeservedly when it's more about how they are kept. We have 18 of them from little 07's up to mature adults. Last feeding night, 16 fed strongly and immediately, 1 is a wild caught rescue and normally is fasting this time of year and 1 refused for the first time in her life. That's what the reality is for most of us, if they are kept correctly and fed appropriately...they really don't deserve the "poor feeders" rep they have. :)

We also feed all of them in their own home enclosures.

Thanks for the welcome, guys! I am very excited about my new snake...now I have to think of a name!

I'm in the process of working out the quirks of her enclosure to get the correct temps and humidity, but it seems to be getting there pretty well. She mostly hangs out on the warm side in her hide sleeping, so I guess she's pretty happy. she bumbles about at night though hahah.

She also drinks a ton.....especially when I first brought her home from the expo..I guess the poor girl was stressed and thirsty. It's a good thing I didn't spend a lot of time there and got her home right away.

I'll try feeding tomorrow..if all goes well, maybe I'll take some pics too!
