Heather, this is how I personally look at it. If a breeder has spent the years, planning, work and cash to produce a very special morph what right do I have to insist they just hand over the "recipe" to me? At some point and at their own discretion they might well talk about what went into making that morph and then I might purchase the "ingredients" but for me, that's their decision done in their own time.

Whining at a breeder or complaining if they won't tell all is, and again this is just my own personal take on it, very rude. I don't feel anyone has the right to do that in order to shortcut a way to a new morph.

I don't resent them or their secrets. As many have said, if they have spent the time to hatch a mystery snake, they deserve to decide when to unveil it. Now, I will readily admit to being a bit frustrated at times when I can't tell what's in the recipe and with all the multiple combos hatching out, that is more and more common . . . . . :D

Not one bit! I think that adds to the intrigue and contributes to keeping ball pythons exciting. If THEY can produce something really cool by playing around with combos, any of us can - and that just serves to remind me how much I love this hobby! Keep on inspiring us guys!
