A snake going into an S position and slowly curving away, is a snake that has encountered something that he does not want to investigate. I would definately hold off handling your snake until it has had a few weeks to settle in and is on a regular feeding schedule.

I picked up 2 bp's myself at the San Antonio show from John Wissner at Revolution Reptiles(Formerly Tropical Vision). A little pastel boy and a yearling normal bp. I'll also be hitting up the Austin show and like you said hopefully there will be more bp's there then.

Plummer the piebald is 9 months old. That's what I was thinking Ginevive. I'm going to leave him alone for a week and see if he starts to calm down. The female normal is doing great. Victim was that pastel that you picked up from the vendor in the back left corner? I saw a great pastel, better than any pastel at the show. I was thinking about getting it, but the second time I went back it was sold.

Yep that's where I got the Pastel from the guy in the back left corner. I saw him, cruised the other tables quickly and then went back for him before he got snatched up. There were 2 other people with pastels but the little guy I got was the nicest that I found and a steal at $150 compared to the $175-$200 the other guys wanted..
I'm hoping that same guy will be at the show in Austin in december, I wanna pick up a few more snakes from him if I can get the space together for them.

Yep that was the one that I was looking at. It was very nice. The guy that I bought my 50% het pied from was Karl Krunk. He had some good spiders for 400 but I didn't have that much. You got a great snake.

Yeah I'm way more then pleased with the little guy, although he is a tad bit shy which I attribute to a lack of handling. Which isn't surprising sinces he's so young and coming from a breeder, they can't handle every animal they have. Now the normal female thats a year old that I got with him is gonna be a handful, she's not scared of anything or anywhere and is a bunch of trouble when I've got her out of the cage. Tommorrow's gonna be feeding day for the first time for the both of them, I just wish someone else would respond to my other post since I'm concerned about what there eating a bit...

Both of my new bp's took their meals. I am feeding the 3 month old female (Gwen) a hopper every Wednesday, and the 9 month old male (Sir Ulrich) is taking small adult mouse. He took his on Sunday and she took hers today:banana:. The male is starting to get around in his tank and relaxing a little, but I am still not going to handle him for another week.
