Re: What keeps me up till 1:30 in the morning?
Lordy Ed that must have been scary, glad to hear the dog is going to be fine though. We had a black lab female years ago and Shadow would literally eat anything that couldn't eat her first. It was hard sometimes as we lived way, way up north and the closest vet was a 5 hour roundtrip drive away. Let's just say he got really used to me calling and coming in with Shad at all hours of the night and day and I got real used to the ever so lovely vet bills.
I'm wondering now if some of the stuff Shad ate was "provided" by our cat...hmmmmmm....answers some of the questions about how in the world Shad got hold of certain items over the years LOL.
Re: What keeps me up till 1:30 in the morning?
I'm so glad he's doing OK now. I don't have cats but I know our dogs will eat almost anything they can get their mouth around. We had to rush our great dane to the vet when she was a few months old becasue she reached a pin cushion (that was on top of our kitchen counter) and ate it. . . . pins included. After expensive surgery, I now have 5 straight pins in a little bottle that they took out of her.
Please keep us updated and send pics.

Yikes! That sounds awful...I'm glad he's doing okay. My cats also engage in the same tactics...I think it's a universal strategy.
