Fortunaltely for me my husband handles them once they get over 12 feet-he grabs the heads and I get the tails. I do care for them up until that point. I clean all the cages and he cleans the snakes. We spend hours every week cleaning up poop and feeding. They are so much fun and it amazes me the difference in their personalities.

I think that's why I'm always really interested in the super-dwarf retics. But they still get pretty big though.

Its funny, the pictures of people with their burms out. Man, I have to be up to it to take my JCP out. Even still I use a glove half the time. Either the giants must be really docile or something because there is no way I'd mess with an identical snake 4 times his size.

Out of all of our burms there are 2 that I won't go near. We have one 6 foot female that does not like me-my husband will get her out and if I am in the room she will strike at me and swing her body around to get at me. The other is still a baby so I'm working with him. The rest of our burms are quite calm and we do handle them often. They still have their moments though.

We have a super dwarf retic and we love him-he should only get about 6 feet-thats not too big.
