The answer is easy feed whatever works for your BP and what is convenient to you.
It is all about knowing your options and feeding responsibly.

If live is easier for you, and it's appropriately sized, then there's nothing wrong with offering live.
Live is easier for me than pre-killed or f/t. Like Adam, I feed 17 ball pythons live every week. The mousers get multiples. I've never had any problems feeding live.
