    Thanks for the precaution but I don't live in IL. Hopefully obtaining a Hoggy shouldn't be too hard, but is there anything else concerning law issues that I'll need to worry about? Honestly I can't find a reason why owning a Hoggy would bring government issues.

    You tell them! No species of Hognose live in Ohio, so why would there be anything to worry about? I was just wondering, did any of you have to go through any government paperwork to get a commonly-kept snake from a breeder/store that's not local to your state? I'm pretty sure all you have to do is buy the snake.

    hahaha, i was thinking the exact same thing but since i'm relatively new in the forum and i dont know how well snarky comments are recieved, i left it for someone else to say. Dont wanna make enemies before i even make friends......
