    Ya i know there is colleges out there that allow you to major in herpetology. But im sure with that degree you can specifically choose a career path to be a snake biologist. Obiously a snake biologist specifically focuses on snakes. Not trying to argue i just know there are "snake" biologists out there. Herpetology is the study of reptiles while snake biology is more specific (just focusing on snakes) :snake: :snake: :snake:

    You would have to major in Herpetology with an emphasis in snakes in undergrad.


    If you get to the Masters or PHD level, you will be able to get your title as specialist in a particular animal, as you have to have your thesis statement focused specifically on an animal.

    THAT is when you can claim to be a Snake Biologist. (Masters level and beyond)
