Re: What are some not so popular snakes out there?
I'm with Daniel on the the Australian python species. I picked up my Children's python from the Tinley NARBC show 2 yrs ago. I have expected the little guy not to make as it looked like it was just out of the egg hardly large enough to eat mouse pinks. The little guy pulled through for me and is getting bigger every week! I have intentions of picking up another Children's...or pair this weekend at Tinley. I haven't been to many shows this year but when I have the children's and spotted seem to be few and far between but they always disappear so there are others out there interested in them. It would be to cool if some morphs started popping out in the world of pocket pythons LOL

I don't know if they'd be considered unpopular, but I haven't seen too many people with Florida/Brooks Kingsnakes. I adore mine, and the color pattens are just gorgeous. He's growing out of his red spots and into his lavender now, though. (and no, that's not an empty water dish, that's his pinkie dish :P )

Glad to hear that your guy is doing well. My pair is doing good too. They seem to grow so slow....ha ha. Once things settle down in my house, I would like to pick up some anthill pythons since they seem even less common than the childrens.

What a cutie patootie!
I agree with Sheree, it seems like Asian rats, as well as African House snakes are really starting to come into their own...and hey, more power to them! Both are such great snakies. =)
