The title of this thread totally confused me. I saw that Ginevive had posted something about Roos in Other Pets and thought "... She had kangaroos now?? Wait, what?? How did that happen??"

    :rolleye2:

Roosters make a LOT more sense, lol!

I had a red banty rooster with one leg as a kid. It had to stay at my aunts house since we lived in town at the time. He would follow me everywhere.

One day I came into her house and she was cooking fried chicken.I looked at the platter and there was an uneven number of legs on it. I came unglued crying and screaming. My Aunt figured out what the hysteria was about and in formed me my chicken was still in the yard, the count wasn't even because she had ate one while cooking!

Awe! How did it get around; I would imagine that it hopped? :)
Mark was griling chicken last weekend, and the roos decided to walk around the house to investigate.. I told them that we were grilling ham ;) It is hysterical; they will see their reflection in the mirrory bumpers of Mark's truck and go ballistic thinking it is another bird!

Yeah, he hopped. Seemed to move just as fast as the others. At least he avoided the dinner plate!!

lol.. sometimes when they get annoying, i threaten them with the dinner-plate.. but if it is a night before we want to sleep-in, I just close them into the barn overnight and let them out when we wake up, and their crowing is no problem. Most days I just leave them out, because we wake up early anyway.
