definately not an afrock.... If you look at the pic the perspective is all distorted and the animal in the water has a long bushy tail.
If that was an adult cow, the snake would be 75-100 fee long.

I'm no expert to when it come to ID of snakes, but that really doesn't look like a cow to me. From the picture it seems that the from legs are shorter than the back ones, also the tail wich is in the water is alot longer than that of a cow. The placement of the ears and what little you can see of the head it seems to look a little like a kangaroo or of that family. I do have to agree with herplover92 and python.princess. Its still an amazing pic.

That pic has been around and yes it is an olive I think it is a Liasis olivaceus barroni due to its large size although I could be mistaken about that.

It is an Olive. I found (i think) the site that the picture came from originally. It had a link to a page where people actually keep these snakes. There are some pretty good pictures there. Here's the site.
