AHH Right on... I've heard Biak and Sorong have the best temperments but I could be totally wrong...
The cheapest GTP I've found are Manakwari, Nabire, and Wamena.

Also Ive heard Jayapura a good snakes to own too, but they are a little more expensive but not by much!

Spuce Nubble Farms has a great selection and has up to date records of all snakes.

Canary GTPs are.. you guessed it, canary yellow. ;)

Rainbow boas are lovely, however they are fairly delicate. They need high humidity (70%) but you have to make sure the cage is not wet (bacteria heaven) they can also overheat easily.. a BPs temp gradient can cook them.

Go to signalherp.com , they just hatched some babies from the canary line, and OMG! Just beautiful animals!

As for the rainbows, I did a search on kingsnake and got some really cool ideas. I cant search for it now, but in the rainbow section this one chick had some really cool vivaria set ups. I think a natural ecosystem vivarium would compliment a rainbow boa very well. On the downside, they may hide more than I would like.

How about a blue beauty?? They are diurnal right?

Also, in this months Reptile Magazine, they featured a desert vivarium that was off the hook! Anyone know what I'm talking about, that's a really great idea too...

A few days ago I put up a similar thread about what to put in a display cage in the "general herps" section. The title was "what species to get?"

    http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=53871

There seemed to be more recommendations for carpet python than anything else, although Shelby did say they become more terrestrial as they mature.

You might want to look at the other responses I got, since your question is similar. I've been enjoying reading the responses here.

I have also been wondering about blue beauties, and taiwan beauties too.
