I am really glad you found her so quick. I had the same thing happen years ago. My wife found her on the back of the toilet seat at 3 am when she got up to use the bathroom. She woke me up real fast to get my snake out of the bathroom.

oh that is so great that you found her so quickly judy. i can only imagine how upset you would have been if you had to go to bed without her safely tucked away.

It was definitely a blessing and an answer to prayer to find her so easily. I tell ya....I'm always sympathetic to the folks who have escapes...and I do my best to give advice on how to find the slithery little boogers.....but now, having experienced it myself, I have a whole new appreciation for what one goes through. All of a sudden you become hyper-aware of the multitude of places that the snake could go that you simply have no access to at all. And she's not a tiny baby snake.....

So yeah....I will forever fully understand not only the sinking-pit feeling of discovering a lost snake...but also the utterly daunting task of finding them. It could easily have gone so very differently for me.

it sure could have. when our two snakes escaped at the same time last year... one turned up dead (by the cats) and the other turned up alive under the 90 gallon salt water tank... the cats lead us to him...

so it was a heartbreaking/happy day for us. i'm so glad your day was without the heartbreak!
