Not to be forgotten, but still unforgiven!!!
I will never forget this day. The fear I felt and the anger. My uncle lost good friends, brothers, fellow firefighters that day. I remember the pain in his voice.

Sorry about that, I just can't condone comments like that. Some people don't realize there are problems everywhere, I have a friend from Baghdad who's close friend and that friends entire family were killed by a suicide bomber, so people are in pain everywhere.
I live 15 minutes out of NYC (at school in boston now though) but I watched in person the towers smoking and burning. In my town most people know someone who was either close to the towers, in the towers or across the street from the towers. Rough day that was.
Re: We will never forget 9/11
i find nothing wrong with my comment. i am entitled to my own opinion and my opinion is that most of the problems in the world are comming from the middle east.
and i have had 2 friends killed in iraq and one who is currently stationed over there, so i have the right to say that thank you very much. and thats actually a song from the early 90's Stormtroopers of Death. Look it up if you'd like. GR8 song.
that is all. this thread should be for remembering those who lost their life's 6 years ago.
Re: We will never forget 9/11
I cannot personally say I was effected by what happened, but I do think about it often. It is the results of it, that have affected my lifesyle.
I do pray that everyone overseas fighting for our freedom (and the freedom of others) will be safe today, especially in the Middle East.
And my thoughts and prayers are with all the victims, not only today but everyday! :salute: *God Bless America... and Canada*
Re: We will never forget 9/11
i live in canada... and although i've never been to new york... on that day one of my very best friends was at a training seminar (he lives in the states) in one of the towers. he went out for a smoke... and on his way out of the building... the first plane hit.
he stood there, as people jumped from windows while huge pieces of cement rained down all around him. a woman, frozen in place, was pushed out of the way by him and she would have been crushed by the chunk of building which fell in her spot.
he's never been the same.
like i said, i've never been to new york, but that day changed my life as well. i'll never be the same.
Re: We will never forget 9/11
my aunt flew out of new york the week before... i couldn't get the 'what ifs' out of my head

Please do not take this personaly as i meant it towards everyone. We have had certain threads get out of hand here in the past and i was shutting it down before it reached that stage. Its true about the pain everywhere :( ,and its VERY SAD.
